Postpartum Psychosis is a life threatening emergency.  Please call 911 or go to the closest emergency room if you or someone you know may be experiencing these symptoms after having a baby: strange beliefs, seeing or hearing things that aren't there, extreme irritability, hyperactivity, decreased need or ability to sleep, paranoia, mood swings, or difficulty communicating.
